All Tulane faculty, across a wide range of academic focus, have supervised undergrad research projects, including recent Honors theses and independent studies. Contact any faculty member about research opportunities they may have and consult with your major advisor about potential coursework credit.
Newcomb-Tulane College Summer Research Program
Explore areas of interest by working alongside faculty in those fields or conducting independent research during summer break. The NTC Summer Research Program has four routes for students interested in a career in medicine, new researchers, those looking for field experience, and more. All routes include and require regular check ins with Academic Enrichment staff and students who will provide guidance throughout the research experience.
NTC Grant Funding
Newcomb-Tulane College awards $100,000 annually to full-time undergraduate students for a variety of projects, including research. Applications for summer internship funding are only considered during March and April.
